Astronauts going home to Ohio to benefit Toledo Animal Rescue

 

The two astronaut series pieces here, while small, are headed off to Ohio!  One will be in a fundraiser benefit auction for Toledo Animal Rescue, to be held at Manhattan's Pub'n Cheer at 1516 Adams in Toledo's Uptown neighborhood.  If you're in the area, stop by--my brother Joe tells me it's a great local pub and the wonderful people at Toledo Animal Rescue need your help as they find new homes for pets in Northwest Ohio. 

 

Toledo was my home for five years, and it was also the place where a momentous thing happened for me, as an artist:  My first solo show!  Here is a link to the artist statement that mentions that show and the special place Toledo has for me today, as an artist.  It's also special to me as the home of my brother, his lovely wife, and my two remarkable nieces.
